The Humble Introversion Bundle just had the Dungeons of Dredmor game added. This means you get even more for a real low price. The Humble Introversion Bundle currently includes Dungeons of Dredmor, Aquaria, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Uplink, Darwinia, DEFCON, and Multiwinia. It also comes with two tech demos, Subversion City Generator and Voxel Tech Demo. For those who are into game development and modding, you also get access to the source code of Darwinia, Multiwinia, DEFCON, and Uplink!

Dungeons of Dredmor is a classic RPG-style game. Remember the good old days of gaming, blowing on cartridges, and wandering around a game world made of gloomy stone 8-bit pixel dungeon floors? This is a throwback to those times, with some humor and the benefits of a point-and-click interface.

In the Dungeons of Dredmor game, you wander through randomly generated dungeons as a handsome rogue, searching for treasure while defeating hordes of monsters with epic weapons and cunning traps. Due to the advances of amazing pixelization technology, old-school gaming awaits, as does a nice skill system, in-depth crafting, and lutefisk!

This game alone will cost you $5.00 through Steam so having it in the Humble Introversion Bundle is a great opportunity to pick it up for even less. Currently the average is $3.96, so for less than 4 big ones (that is 4 Mt Dews, 4 Big Grabs of Doritos, 16 Quarters, one twelfth of a Cedar Point ticket, 3 cups of diner coffee, or half the cost of a stuck up coffee with a ridiculous name) you could pick up Dungeons of Dredmor, along with all the other Humble Introversion Bundle games!

The current bundle is only available until December 6, so hurry up and get it before time runs out (and before everyone else drives the price up because they feel it necessary to pay more than they absolutely have to for the pack).

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! News of Zynga’s newest addition, currently in beta testing, is Castleville. With its campy quests and cutesy look, this game stands out from many other similar titles.

In this new medieval land you start with a basic character. It has a rather nice character creator, allowing you to play around and make a unique character that suits your tastes. Best of all you can always change the look for free later. It plays very much like Frontierville, which was a bit of a disappointment for me because I much prefer Farmville’s structure of game play.

Casteville

The basic setup here is you get energy points to spend, and with those energy points you do the daily kingdom chores and complete the quests. You follow quests that the town folk give to you, which provides some direction.

If you are paying close attention, you will notice little things thrown into the game you might not have seen if you were rampantly clicking away. For example, when I was level 6, one of my quests was called ‘Fear and Loathing’.

Besides harvesting and completing these quests, you have the impending Gloom that is attacking your village. You must defeat the Glooms that appear, units such as a pack of wolves or some rats, fending them off to keep your kingdom safe. The goal is to keep building your kingdom up and unlocking more land surrounding you. You make your kingdom bigger and get more local peasants to follow your ranks, growing your kingdom through your success in managing the day-to-day and your battle prowess.

Unlocking special items is done with ‘Crown’ units. You get one every level and have the option to buy more with real cash. The unlocked items are things like costumes and different scenery items, or skipping quest parts without needing help from friends. Overall, the adventure seems like it will be a fun one, so I say Huzzah to Castleville.

The delayed PC version of Batman: Arkham City has been given a release date of November 22nd in North America and November 25th in Europe. The biggest difference between the PC and console versions of the game appears to be an improved graphical presentation due to Nvidia Physx.

The Humble Voxatron Bundle has recently added Blocks That Matter and The Binding of Isaac to make this a sweet little deal. You can pay what you want for the bundle (which can be divvied between the devs and charity), but to get Blocks That Matter and The Binding of Issac you have to pay the average price ($4.78 at the moment). This is a great way to support indie devs and charity. The bundle is available DRM free, or can be activated on Steam. Get over to humblebundle.com to get yours.

Rockstar Games has finally released the trailer for Grand Theft Auto V. Check out the trailer, which hints at the 3 main characters.

The Metal Warden is a ranged tank character who looks extemely fun to play. She has good mobility and even a healing EX version of one of her attacks. With her charge shot, arm blaster, and powerball I wouldn’t be surprised if they were trying to channel Samus Aran with this Bloodline. Make sure you check out the video, for every 50,000 views it gets before Nov. 23rd every player will get an 8 game blood coin boost.
